Saskatchewan Library Week is observed from October 18th through 25th. The local Neilburg Library is part of the Lakeland Regional Library and held their annual Fall Tea on October 20 to mark this event.
This year the tea was very well attended as Myrtle Conacher, an author who resides on a farm near the Village of Mervin, came to give a reading from her second, and most recent novel, "The Crocodile Connection." Myrtle's husband, Robert, came with her to offer moral support and to sell copies of both of her books. Her first book is called "Murder on the Maritime Tour." Both are published by Benchmark Press.
