Alisdair has just returned from his first Occupational Therapy session since June of 2009 (his therapist was away last year on a maternity leave so he only saw the physiotherapist). Amanda (left) did some spatial exercises on paper with Alisdair before doing a few exercises on a mat with him. She thought he was quite stiff and that his feet were turning in a bit and not straight. Amanda will be sending him a written exercise program to follow and will be seeing him again, throughout the school year, at Neilburg Composite. Today, Kate (right), an occupational therapist in training at the University of Alberta, was observing what Amanda does.
